About Portland Roof Pros

A place to request a roofing quote in the Portland area, with the cost sources and permit rules that help you read the bid you get back.

Finding a roofer in Portland mostly means the map results, the ads above them, and directories. Portland Roof Pros is something narrower: a form that sends a description of your roof to an independent roofing contractor, and a set of pages about what roofing work involves here.

Those pages try to do two things other roofing pages often skip. Price ranges on the cost page name their source, the date it was checked and the size of job the source assumed. And local rules are stated only where a primary source backs them: the Portland page quotes the City’s own permit guidance, and where a suburb’s rule has not been confirmed the page says to ask that city.

The site covers roof replacement, roof repair, metal roofing and flat roofing. It does not take requests for moss removal or roof cleaning.

Who operates this site

Portland Roof Pros is operated by H. Mae LLC. You can reach us through the contact page.

What this site does

A roofing quote-request service for the Portland, Oregon metro. It passes homeowner requests to independent, CCB-licensed roofing contractors and performs no roofing work itself.

It covers roofing for homeowners in Portland, Beaverton, Gresham, Hillsboro and Lake Oswego, in the Portland area.

How matching works

1. Describe the roof. Enter the ZIP code, pick the kind of work, and say what you are seeing: a leak, wind damage, an old roof, or a quote you want to compare.
2. Your request goes to a roofer. We pass it to an independent, CCB-licensed roofing contractor who works in your part of the metro. We do no roofing ourselves.
3. The roofer inspects and bids. The contractor contacts you directly, looks at the roof and gives you a written bid with their own price and scope.
4. You look up the license and decide. Check the CCB number on the bid, compare it with any other bids you have, and hire them or not. There is no obligation.

What this site does not do

• It is not a contractor, and it does not perform roofing work itself.
• It does not set prices or give quotes. The contractor who takes on the job does that, after discussing it with you.
• It does not supervise, guarantee or take responsibility for work a contractor carries out.
• It does not sell the information you submit.
• It does not publish reviews, ratings, credentials or any other claim it cannot verify.
